When Time Magazine's cover reads How To Die then I guess austerity has set in.  Save money by pulling the feeding tube out of your dying mother's mouth.

I'm all for saving money, but there is a big difference between frugal and heartless.

This isn't the first story I've read about a woman going to a hospital, perfectly healthy, to give birth and leaves with a life threatening illness.  She's already missed the first week of her newborn's lives...
